Could a team of AmeriCorps members help your organization achieve greater community impact?
This is an opportunity, outside of the process used to accept full AmeriCorps proposals, for your organization to develop and share a basic idea for an AmeriCorps proposal and program, and get feedback from the Service Commission staff ahead of the release of the RFP for the 2017-18 program year. Although submission of a concept paper is optional, it is highly recommended.
Elements of the Concept Paper submission will include – briefly – some fundamental organizational information, a description of the community need you plan to address, how AmeriCorps members will help meet that need, the change or impact that the members will have on the community need, and how the organization will measure the improvement.
Unsure of how all of this might work? Please take a few moments and familiarize yourself with the wealth of information about AmeriCorps available at www.nationalservice.gov.
