Nominate an Outstanding Volunteer

Do you know someone who is always putting others first? How about an organization or business that never hesitates to help out whenever there's problem in the community? There are volunteers all over Virginia making a difference in our neighborhoods and schools -- tutoring students, conducting food drives, assisting seniors, cleaning up our parks, and much more! The Governor's Volunteerism and Community Service Awards are presented in each of the categories listed below. The nine outstanding award winners represent the millions of generous Virginians who offer their time and talents to others each year.

Winners will be honored at a special ceremony in the spring. The Governor's Advisory Board on Service and Volunteerism, the Virginia Service Foundation, and the Virginia Office on Volunteerism and Community Services are honored to assist the Governor in selecting and recognizing these volunteers.
