Does your organization have a project that could use the energy and might of an AmeriCorps NCCC team? NCCC engages teams of members in short-term (6-8 weeks) projects addressing critical needs relating to: Environmental Stewardship, Urban and Rural Development, Energy Conservation, Infrastructure Improvement, and Disaster Response & Rebuilding. Members construct and rehabilitate low-income housing, respond to natural disasters, clean up streams, help communities develop emergency plans, and address countless other local needs.
Organizations apply through a simple two-step process.
- Step 1: Submit a Project Concept Form to schan@cns.gov (Round 3 Projects January 8-February 18, 2020 by September 17, 2019 and Round 4 Projects February 25-May 1, 2020 by October 8, 2019)
- Step 2: After review, eligible organizations will complete the full Service Project Application.
The campus can provide support in project development and preparing the sponsor for hosting a team. There is no cost to host an AmeriCorps NCCC team nor does AmeriCorps NCCC provide financial support.
