AmeriCorps State Application Process

The Virginia Department of Social Services, Office on Volunteerism and Community Services (which serves as the Virginia Service Commission for the Commonwealth of Virginia), accepts responses to Request for Proposals for AmeriCorps State Formula and Competitive programs. In 2019 the Virginia Service Commission will only be accepting proposals from Continuation Programs and not be accepting new program proposals until 2020. 2019-20 AmeriCorps State Formula Grants

The grant application process for 2018-19 Virginia AmeriCorps State Formula Funding has ended. To be considered for Formula funding, a Legal Applicant Organization must have met all eligibility criteria as outlined in the Eligibility Information section of the RFP. 

 

2018-19 AmeriCorps State Competitive Grants

The grant application process for 2018-19 Virginia AmeriCorps State Competitive Funding has ended. To be considered for Competitive funding, a Legal Applicant Organization must have met all eligibility criteria as outlined in the Eligibility Information section of the RFP below. An applicant that is being considered for Competitive funding will also be considered for Formula funding if they are unsuccessful in the National competition for Competitive funding.
